Trace the pattern.
Know where to begin.

A Whole Health Review brings your symptoms, results, treatments and significant life experiences into one chronological picture, helping identify the key turning points, what may have been overlooked and where your next stage of healing may begin.

     Why map your health?

Health information is usually collected one symptom, test result or appointment at a time. Over time, the sequence can get lost, making it hard to understand what changed first, what followed, and how the different pieces relate.

Van brings your symptoms, pathology and HTMA results, oral and dental history, medications, supplements, treatments and significant life experiences into chronological order. She considers what was happening across your body, mind, emotions and spirit when important changes occurred.

This can help reveal key turning points, recurring patterns, treatment responses, missing information and experiences that may still carry emotional significance. The purpose is not to prove that one event caused a health condition, but to clarify what deserves further attention and where your next stage of healing work may need to begin.

Is the Whole-Health Review right for you?

The Whole Health Review may be right for you if you have a long or complex health history and feel that the individual pieces have been examined separately, without anyone bringing the complete picture together.

✓ You have ongoing or recurring symptoms that do not fit into one clear picture.

✓ You have accumulated pathology results, scans, dental records, HTMA results, supplement plans or practitioner notes.

✓ You have tried different treatments or approaches and want to understand how you responded to them over time.

✓ You believe significant health changes and important life experiences may have overlapped.

✓ You want recurring patterns, missing information and important turning points identified.

✓ You want to explore whether certain experiences still carry emotional significance and may deserve further personal work.

✓ You are open to considering your health through the body, mind, emotions and spirit.

✓ You are prepared to gather your records and participate actively in the review.

A Different Way of Understanding your Health History

Van does not begin with only your latest symptom or test result. She brings together the physical information, the sequence of events and the personal experiences that have shaped your health journey.

Drawing on nearly 30 years of investigative experience, Van carefully reconstructs what happened, when it happened and what changed afterwards. She compares your symptoms, investigations, pathology and HTMA results, oral and dental history, treatments and responses with the significant events occurring within your life at the time.

This process can reveal important turning points, recurring patterns, missing information and experiences that may still carry emotional significance. It does not assume that every symptom has an emotional cause or prove that one event caused a health condition. Its purpose is to identify what deserves further attention and help pinpoint where your healing work may need to begin.

Your history is then explored through four interconnected pillars: body, mind, emotions and spirit.

Body

Symptoms, pathology and functional test trends, HTMA results, oral and dental history, nutrition, medications, supplements, previous treatments, relevant exposures and treatment responses are considered together to understand how your physical health has changed over time.

Mind

Thought patterns, beliefs, expectations, habits, mental load and learned ways of interpreting experiences are explored to understand how they may influence your choices, behaviour and responses to change.

Emotions

Significant relationships, grief, resentment, loss, prolonged stress, major changes and emotionally important experiences are considered alongside your health timeline. This may help identify experiences that still carry emotional charge and areas where further personal work may be useful.

Spirit

Your values, identity, meaning, purpose and sense of connection are included where personally relevant. Spiritual and energetic perspectives are explored only where they are meaningful and appropriate for you; spirituality does not need to mean religion.

The timeline helps reveal what changed and when.
The four pillars help identify what may deserve attention and where your healing work may need to begin.

How the Whole-Health Review works

The process moves from gathering the individual pieces of your health and life history to understanding their sequence, recognising the most meaningful turning points and clarifying where further attention may be useful.

Gather your story

Complete a detailed health-history questionnaire and provide the records relevant to your journey. These may include pathology and HTMA results, scans, dental records, medication and supplement lists, previous treatment information and significant life events.

Review and map

Van carefully reviews the information and constructs your Personal Health Timeline. She considers what changed, when it changed, what else was happening at the time and how you responded to previous treatments and health interventions.

Recurring patterns, important turning points, information gaps and experiences that may still carry emotional significance are identified for further discussion.

Understand and move forward

During your 120-minute consultation, Van takes you through your timeline, Four-Pillar Pattern Map and written Whole Health Overview in clear language.

Together, you clarify the priority areas, appropriate questions and where your next stage of health or emotional work may need to begin. A 60-minute follow-up consultation within 30 days allows you to discuss any further questions and review your next steps.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the Whole-Health Review for?

The review is designed for people with ongoing or complex health concerns and multiple test results or treatment experiences who want their complete health story considered together, rather than one symptom at a time.

Why create a Personal Health Timeline?

The timeline places relevant symptoms, investigations, dental events, treatments and significant changes in sequence. This can make patterns and treatment responses easier to recognise and help identify meaningful questions to explore. It does not prove that one event caused another.

What information will I need to provide?

You will complete a health-history questionnaire and provide relevant pathology results, scans, reports, dental information, medications, supplements and previous treatment details. You don't need to have everything before you begin. Start with the information you already have.

Will this review tell me what is causing my symptoms?

The review may identify patterns, timing, treatment responses and areas that deserve further exploration. It does not provide a medical diagnosis, prove causation or guarantee that one underlying cause will be found.

What if I have more than 100 pages of records?

The free fit call helps establish the volume and complexity of your information. If additional review time is required, we will explain the scope and fee and agree on them with you before any additional work begins.

What happens after I book?

You will receive a health-history questionnaire and instructions for providing your relevant information. Once the information has been received, Van begins the review and prepares your Personal Health Timeline and Whole-Health Overview. You will then attend the 120-minute consultation, followed by the 60-minute review within 30 days. Consultations are available in Melbourne and online.
